I discovered my love of design research and empathetic problem solving through my past lives in international strategy, consulting, and process improvement.
As a researcher and designer, I’ve entered the worlds of procurement professionals, billing specialists, fintech entrepreneurs, offering managers, and consultants.
Together with my teams, I’ve built everything from new products, to new organizational behaviors, to whole new ways of working.

Helped build a post-pandemic device strategy for a global accounting and consulting firm, driving user-focused alignment in an organization that struggled to understand its employees.
Led a collaborative, global research and change project to define organizational habits and beliefs and drive their adoption within a 140,000 person organization.
Served as the in-house researcher for an internal incubator program bringing new offerings to market. The work of our team lead to a 400% growth in offering sales to IBM Consulting clients.
Product owner and content curator for a community dedicated to agile, iterative methodologies. Launched 4 products in one year, supporting a global community of practitioners, and saving IBM ~$6 million per year in saved time.
Facilitated design workshops with everyone from front-line workers to senior execs, using empathy to cut through complexity and focus on what matters.
Educational deets:
I have a B.A. in Political Science from Swarthmore College, a small liberal-arts school most folks have never heard of, and an M.A. in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University, a big university that lots of folks have.
I’m a certified Design Thinking coach and facilitator

An lifelong hobbyist and maker, my passions include improv (which helps me think on my feet and be creative), woodworking (which helps me understand how things fit together), and disc golf and ultimate frisbee (which get me out of the house).
